Warner Bros Pictures will release “Top Cat Begins” in the United Kingdom on May 27th.

 

The previous film “Top Cat: the Movie” produced by Ánima Estudios, broke box office records; not just in Mexico but in other countries such as England, in which it stayed in the Top 5 during its first weeks in theaters, an unprecedented achievement for a Mexican or Latin American production.

 

“Top Cat Begins” is directed by Andres Couturier, produced by Fernando De Fuentes and José C. García de Letona and was written by James Kreig, Doug Langdale and Jorge Ramírez-Suárez.

 

“We could not ask for a better partner than Warner Bros. for releasing Top Cat in the UK”, said Fernando De Fuentes, producer of the film.

 

“Having a release as big as this, in the third most important country of the film industry, validates the efforts of all of our team as well as the quality of our productions”, said José C. García de Letona, producer.

 

The story of how Top Cat initially met the members of his gang sold more than 1.5 Million tickets in Mexico and has a long list of upcoming releases all over the world.
