  • Alberto Abed Schekaiban has his image hurted by the article and since he is not a prominent public figure, just a business person, his article is not relevant enough to keep damaging his image. Some might argue the article was not offensive in it’s latter form but still the history of the article remains open and other sites keep referring to outdated versions of the article. Please remove as soon as possible. MexicoReview (talk) 20:35, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
  • Comment. I have blocked the nominator for making legal threats. However, I think the WP:BLP issue he raises is a valid concern, so I think the AfD nomination should go forward. No opinion on whether to keep or delete at this time. —David Eppstein (talk) 06:04, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
  • This AfD nomination was incomplete (missing step 3). It is listed now. DumbBOT (talk) 13:39, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
  • Comment as much as I hate stubs, I don’t want to support a delete, so I’ll be watiting to see if they can reverse the articles. –WngLdr34 (talk) 16:56, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
  • Comment This article has been heavily deleted by the nominator; but I don’t know if his claims can be trusted. If this form of the article is correct, its probably notable –but we need better information on whether that information is true; if it is confirmed not to be, then we have an attack page problem. –Bobak (talk) 17:33, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
    • In the form you link to, all but the first sentence are not so much about him as about legal issues surrounding his former airline. From reading that version, it sounds like he was not even tried for any crime, let alone convicted, so per WP:BLP we should probably keep that out of the article if it is kept. However, the first sentence (that he is the former owner of an airline) makes him sound notable to me and, stripped of the attack content, could be the basis of an article. —David Eppstein (talk) 18:02, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
  • Comment The main problem and the reason I’m asking this article to be deleted is Mr Abed’s will not to be listed in Wikipedia. Hundreds of sites took the damaging information and categories and published them, many of them still have the information and the reference so when people follow the link and don’t find the information the review the history of the article. Some ill intentioned people may even post links to the damaging information in the history. So, while notable enough to have an article perhaps by being the former owner of an airline, he would not have been noticeable were not for the claims made against him, and will be very hard to find reliable information to complete the article from it’s current stub form, and yet he’s being subject to dirty wars by people who is using the information found on Wikipedia. Yet another reason is most mexican business people does not want to be trated like notable people for it augments the possibilities of being kidnapped by the organized crime. So I beg you cooperation to proceed with the deletion of the article. –MexicoReview (talk) 17:33, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
  • Delete. BLP concerns are high with this article. Comparing the most recent full version of the article (prior to the nom’s appropriate gutting) to the original version, the content is almost exactly the same. If in two years, give or take, no expansion has been made to turn this from an almost wholly negative account of alleged crimes and failed business ventures into something resembling an actual biography, it’s doubtful we’ll see much change in the near future. Even if these claims are true, I don’t believe that it is enough to satisfy GNG. Google isn’t bringing anything substantial up that’s not already covered here, so I think this page should be deleted. Lara 17:37, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
  • Delete Everything I could find in a search on the web for this BLP appeared to be WP:COATRACKish and leaning toward WP:UNDUE. I just don’t see enough reliable sources out there to establish notability; even in a WP:GNG sense. If he becomes notable in the future, we can build the article at that time. — Ched :  ?  18:15, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
  • Keep Perfectly sound evidence of his involvement with the bankruptcy: [1] The head of a company that size is notable. Removing the names of his company from the article was an excessive interpretation of BLP. DGG ( talk ) 01:46, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
    • The article you refer [2] Has been written by XXXX a journalist with a track of libellous claims against the government, businesses and business people, and by those practices he has a number of lawsuits and has even been arrested as you can verify here [3] or googling XXXX lawsuit or in spanish XXXX demanda. —MexicoReview (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 17:22, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
  • Delete – kill with fire. Just another NN-Biog with potentially serious BLP issues – Alison ❤ 02:39, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
  • Delete. There are insufficient sources out there to write anything remotely neutral. Kevin (talk) 01:34, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
